Farm-to-Table: HACAP Partnership
At Dan and Debbie’s Creamery, we believe our work goes beyond producing high-quality dairy products. It’s about being part of a community, supporting our neighbors, and making a positive impact. That’s why we’re excited to share our partnership with HACAP Food Reservoir, an organization dedicated to addressing food insecurity right here in our area.
Milk is an essential part of a balanced diet, packed with vital nutrients like calcium, protein, and vitamins A and D. We’re passionate about ensuring everyone in our community, especially those facing difficult times, has access to these essential nutrients. Through our partnership with HACAP, we provide these benefits to those who need them most with a weekly delivery of farm fresh milk.
Seeing the impact of our contributions is incredibly rewarding. Knowing our milk helps children grow strong and healthy, supports the elderly, and provides nourishment to families in need is what drives us every day. Our collaboration with HACAP is more than just a charitable effort; it’s a shared commitment to building a stronger, healthier community.
In fact, one of our favorite events is our annual Milk Run 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run. This event not only promotes health and fitness but also raises funds to provide our nutritious dairy products to HACAP and their partnering agencies. It’s a wonderful day where our community comes together to support a great cause while enjoying some fun and exercise.
This partnership would not possible without the incredible support of our customers and their donations to our Give A Gallon Program, direct donations to HACAP for dairy products. and of course participation of The Milk Run. The support enables us to sustain our business and continue assisting in HACAPs mission to fight hunger and improve lives.
Thank you for being a part of our journey and for helping us make a difference. Together, with HACAP Food Reservoir, we’re building a better, more caring community—one dairy product at a time.
