How long is the tour?

Tours last about 45–60 minutes, depending on questions and group size.

Can we book if we’ve taken the tour before?

We encourage new groups to book tours, as our process doesn’t change much year to year. Repeat visits may feel very similar to your first experience.

Is the tour a walking tour?

Not really. Our tour is mostly stationary—you’ll be in our viewing area looking down into the production room while your guide talks you through what’s happening. It’s a great option for most mobility levels.

Will we see cows or other animals?

No. Our tours take place at our creamery in Ely, not at our dairy farm. You’ll learn about our farm and how we care for our cows, but there are no animals on-site.

Can I join a tour as an individual?

At this time, we only offer private group tours for schools, organizations, and other groups. We don’t have public tours for individuals or small walk-in parties.

Do I need to schedule a tour in advance?

Yes. All tours must be booked ahead of time so we can have a guide available and the space ready for your group. We’re not able to accommodate walk-ins.
