We’re looking for someone who is reliable, punctual, hardworking, and enjoys being out on the road. You don’t need experience as a delivery driver—we’re happy to train the right person—but you do need a positive attitude, a clean driving record, and a willingness to represent our family farm with pride.

This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys a bit of independence, is customer-service minded, and wants to be part of a local business making a difference.

WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH AND EXPERIENCE

• Deliver dairy and local products with friendly, reliable service to wholesale customers across Iowa
• Maintain professionalism and represent Dan & Debbie’s Creamery with a customer-first mindset
• Develop great working relationships with our partners and customers
• Ensure orders are accurately packed, delivered on time, and handled with care
• Perform basic vehicle inspections and keep the delivery vehicle clean and organized
• Support our warehouse team with loading and prepping deliveries
• Learn how to troubleshoot on the go and think on your feet
• Become an ambassador of our farm’s mission and values
• Experience the behind-the-scenes process of a farm-to-table business
• Help us grow—share feedback, ideas, and opportunities you see on the road

SKILLS REQUIRED

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift and carry up to 60 lbs
• Friendly and professional communication
• Good time management and attention to detail
• Comfortable working independently for long stretches
• Willing to learn and follow safety and delivery procedures
• Ability to stand, bend, and move throughout the day
• Must be at least 18 years of age to apply

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are seeking a dynamic Product Development Lead to drive the innovation, development, and successful launch of new dairy products in our creamery. This role will lead end-to-end product development, mentor a small team, and collaborate across functions to bring products to market that delight customers and meet business goals.

The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, passionate about innovation, and experienced in translating market insights into actionable product strategies.

WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH AND EXPERIENCE

• Create and Produce Every Day: Work hands-on in the creamery, making products daily while maintaining high quality and consistency.

• Drive Product Innovation: Lead the development of new products from concept through launch, bringing fresh ideas and flavors to life.

• Ensure Quality & Compliance: Develop and produce products that meet safety, regulatory, and cost standards.

• Test and Refine Products: Oversee sensory evaluations, shelf-life studies, and product testing to ensure every product meets company and industry standards.

• Stay Ahead of Trends: Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and consumer insights to inspire continuous innovation.

• Lead and Mentor a Team: Guide and support our production team fostering growth, creativity, and accountability within.

• Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with marketing, production, fulfillment and retail teams to bring products from idea to reality.

• Communicate Impact: Share your product vision, progress, and successes with leadership and stakeholders.

• Prioritize for Impact: Allocate resources effectively and make strategic decisions to maximize the business impact of your work.

• Shape the Future of the Brand: Define and implement long-term product roadmaps, identify opportunities for innovation, and ensure all products align with our family’s mission and market trends.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

• Experience in food production or product development, preferably in a creamery, bakery, or specialty food business.

• Passion for creating high-quality products and experimenting with  food products.

• Some knowledge of food safety, quality control, and basic regulatory requirements.

• Ability to manage multiple projects while being hands-on in production.

• Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
