Experience Dan and Debbie's Creamery

We offer private group tours in our viewing room that overlooks our working creamery year-round. All of the farm-fresh dairy products sold in our retail store are made right here on-site at the creamery using the latest production equipment. Each day there is something different happening in our production room. Watch how we bottle our cream top milk, make cheese curds, craft ice cream, or hand roll salted butter from the milk given by 120 Holstein cows on our family farm.

Our creamery tours are perfect for all ages and all types of groups and organizations. Tours are customized to meet the age and interest level of your group.

*Please note, the creamery tours are very stationary and take place at the creamery and not on the physical farm. You will learn and hear about the farm, cows, and hear and see the production practices but will not be on site at the physical farm. This tour is to highlight our production facility.

Tour Pricing Details

If you are interested in a private tour or have any questions, email dananddebbiestours@gmail.com. Budget about one hour of time for both the tour, then ordering and eating the ice cream flavor of your choice. We will do our best to accommodate your group’s needs. If you have any further questions, please call us at (319) 848-MILK (6455) within our creamery store business hours.

As a small business, our ability to schedule tours is influenced by production schedule and staffing availability. For this reason, we are unable to schedule tours too far in advance. We kindly ask for at least two weeks’ notice when booking and follow these booking windows:

Tours between January 1 and May 31 can be booked starting October 1 of the previous year.
Tours between June 1 and August 31 can be booked starting March 1 of the same year.
Tours between October 1 and December 31 can be booked starting June 1 of the same year.

Due to limited staff and the busy harvest and holiday season, we will not be holding tours from November 1, 2025 through December 31, 2025.

We’ll begin scheduling tours again in 2026, and we hope to welcome you then for a behind-the-scenes look at our creamery. Please look for a follow-up around the new year.
